Senior Tapered Insulation Estimator / Project Manager

The Senior Tapered Insulation Designer is responsible for the estimating of tapered insulation projects, providing on-site support, as well as servicing all professionals in the roofing industry. This role ensures supervision of the tapered department at a local level.

We are looking for a self-sufficient, motivated Senior Tapered Insulation Estimator for our Rexdale location on Bethridge Rd to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize requests for quotes received by representatives, clients, and targeted projects on various websites
• Interpret plans, specifications, and addenda while ensuring that all information is clear
• Contact representatives, customers, and professionals who completed the plans and specs. for clarification
• Manage and prioritize the execution of clients’ projects and coordinate planning with production. Follow up with clients on projects from start to finish
• Ensure the validation of on-site measurements, and offer support in the event of complex situations requiring a site presence
• Provide support to project managers and estimators when required
• Act as the resource person for the local estimating team, local colleagues, and industry professionals
• Manage and mobilize the local team of tapered estimators

Requirements

• Education in Civil Engineering Technologies
• 5+ years of experience in the commercial roofing industry
• 3+ years of experience in the field of tapered insulation
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Taper Plus
• 2+ years of experience in managerial role
